Skull X-ray
The skull X-ray image is an X-ray photograph which shows the brain- and facial skull’s – mainly forming the facial skeleton – cavity shadows, and the deflection of these bones..
For example, fractures, bone tumors, fluid in the sinuses, coverage caused by inflammation, etc. Repeating the shots within a few days it gives the chance of monitoring the state of the disease (like sinusitis), its timing, deterioration or improvement.
The examination is not painful. In the case of skull or neck injury, moving the head to a certain position may cause discomfort. There is no need for preparation. Patients should take their glasses or larger earrings off.
